The first classed tugboat in Heilongjiang Province was delivered for use in Jiamusi City
Tugboats play an important and indispensable role in shipping, ports, and the ship economy. The ship is 34.5 meters long and is suitable for pushing and towing barges of up to 3000 tons, capable of continuous sailing for 300 hours with a range of over 3900 kilometers. With strong towing power, good maneuverability, and reliable quality, two 620-horsepower Weichai 6170 engines provide the main propulsion power, while the auxiliary engine also uses Weichai WP6 generator sets.
Since the design and construction of the ship, Weichai has actively coordinated and connected, with professional engineers fully cooperating with the shipyard, shipowners, and China Classification Society, to promote the selection, installation, and testing progress of the ship's machinery, successfully passing the classification society certification, providing strong technical support for the smooth launch and delivery of the ship.
In the past two years, Weichai's WH series and 6170 marine power have become the main products in the tugboat market, with continuous market orders.
