In accordance with the Shandong Heavy Industry Group Party Committee's theme education activity requirements of "One Family, One Heart, Working Together, and Achieving Success," to recognize advanced models who have made outstanding achievements and played a leading role in their work, and to leverage the exemplary role of these models, on October 23, Weichai held the "Gathering Innovation Power, Fighting for the Fourth Quarter" quarterly corporate Culture Star commendation event. More than 100 people participated in the commendation event, including relevant leaders of the group, party organization secretaries of the award-winning units, award representatives, and employee representatives.
At the event site, awards were presented to 16 award-winning employees from the Engine Research Institute, the Electronic Control and Software Research Institute, the Large Bore Engine Research Institute, and the Application Engineering Center. Representatives from the Engine Research Institute and the Electronic Control and Software Research Institute took turns to speak, sharing their achievements and struggles in technological innovation, as well as their practices and insights regarding the "One Family, One Heart, Working Together, and Achieving Success" culture.
Since 2020, Weichai has continuously carried out quarterly and annual corporate Culture Star selection activities. In the third quarter of this year, a total of 100 stars were selected, including Innovation Stars, Marketing Stars, Quality Stars, Efficiency Stars, Cooperation Stars, and Service Stars. The selected corporate Culture Stars focus more on business, pay more attention to achievements, and emphasize effectiveness.
Next, Weichai will continue to do a good job in selecting corporate Culture Stars and will deeply explore the typical deeds of these Culture Stars, uncovering their stories, valuable experiences of growth, etc., to create a strong atmosphere of competition and learning.
