On July 24, our company successfully delivered a 15-meter hydrographic vessel to the Hong Kong Marine Department. This vessel will serve the Hydrographic Survey Division of the Hong Kong Marine Department and is the 10th vessel our company has successfully delivered to the Hong Kong SAR government since 2015. This successful delivery further strengthens the close cooperative relationship between our company and various vessel departments of the Hong Kong SAR government.

Delivery Ceremony of 15-meter Hong Kong Hydrographic No. 1

The vessel has a total length of 15 meters and a width of 4.5 meters, designed as a high-speed monohull with a displacement type. It is powered by twin engines and twin propellers, with the main propulsion engine being a VOLVO D11 diesel engine, achieving a maximum speed of over 18 knots. The propulsion system features a slip function to meet the requirements for long-duration low-speed survey work. The vessel is equipped with advanced and comprehensive hydrographic measurement equipment, including a single-beam echo sounder, multi-beam echo sounder, inertial navigation attitude sensor, surface sound velocity profiler, and differential global navigation satellite system receiver, among other devices, placing it at the leading level in the industry among fiberglass hydrographic survey vessels.
