On March 6, Man Shengang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, presided over a Party committee meeting. The meeting focused on studying the important speeches delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the symposium on private enterprises and during the 19th collective learning session of the Central Political Bureau, as well as his important articles published in Qiushi Journal, "Improving the System of Full and Strict Governance over the Party" and "Economic Work Must Properly Balance Several Important Relationships." The meeting also researched and deployed work related to the 2025 budget arrangements.

The meeting stressed the importance of earnestly studying and implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches and instructions. It emphasized accurately grasping the major political significance of the "two unwavering" principles (unwavering support for the development of the private sector and unwavering commitment to the development of the public sector), shouldering social responsibilities, demonstrating the responsibilities of state-owned enterprises, and deepening mutually beneficial cooperation and common development with private enterprises. It also underscored the importance of firmly establishing the concept that development is paramount and that safety is equally paramount, effectively preventing and resolving various safety risks, and building a solid foundation for the high-quality development of the enterprise. The meeting further highlighted the need to continuously improve and perfect the system of full and strict governance over the Party, motivating Party organizations at all levels and a large number of Party members and cadres to understand, assume, and fulfill their responsibilities; deepening the construction of "integrity, diligence, and honesty" culture; and comprehensively promoting the "three no corruption" approach (preventing corruption, punishing corruption, and rectifying corruption) to create a clean and honest political environment. Finally, the meeting emphasized the importance of establishing a scientific view of development and performance appraisal, coordinating the relationship between group control and market-driven forces, product supply and customer demand, traditional industries and strategic transformation, existing competition and the exploration of new increments, and improving quality and efficiency and expanding the total output, maintaining a high-quality development trend.
The meeting also studied matters related to the group's 2025 budget arrangement, investment and operation of overseas listed companies, Party member education and training plan, and the progress of the work of provincial first secretaries assisting the poor, and made further deployments and strengthened the current efforts in ensuring safety and stability.
