From March 22nd to 23rd, Liu Ning, Secretary of the Henan Provincial Committee of the CPC, and Wang Kai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Committee and Governor, led a delegation to Shandong for inspection and coordination. Lin Wu, Secretary of the Shandong Provincial Committee of the CPC; Zhou Naixiang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Committee and Governor; and Wang Yuanyan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission, attended relevant activities.
On the morning of the 22nd, the two provinces coordinated on the collaborative advancement of relevant work. Lin Wu, on behalf of the Shandong Provincial Committee and Provincial Government, welcomed the visit of the Henan study delegation and expressed gratitude for the support and assistance provided by Henan over the years. He stated that in recent years, the Henan Provincial Committee and Provincial Government have deeply implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on Henan's work, continuously achieving new progress and results in economic and social development, with many experiences and practices worthy of learning and reference. Shandong and Henan are geographically connected, share close people-to-people ties, and have integrated economies and shared cultures. On the new journey, we are willing to work with Henan to resolutely implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions and requirements and the Party Central Committee's decisions and deployments, seizing opportunities, strengthening exchanges, deepening cooperation, and working together to promote the implementation of the major national strategy of ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin, developing new-type productivity in a way that suits local conditions, promoting interconnectivity of transportation, promoting the integrated development of culture and tourism, and striving to make new and greater contributions to promoting Chinese-style modernization.
Liu Ning, on behalf of the Henan Provincial Committee and Provincial Government, sincerely thanked Shandong for its long-standing support for Henan. He said that the Shandong Provincial Committee and Provincial Government firmly implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech during his inspection of Shandong, shouldering the mission of "being in the forefront and playing a leading role," forging ahead with determination, working diligently and practically, and achieving new results in the construction of a modernized strong province, with experiences worthy of serious study and reference. Henan and Shandong are both major economic provinces, populous provinces, and cultural provinces in the Yellow River Basin, with strong economic complementarity and high degree of collaborative correlation. It is hoped to further strengthen exchanges and interactions with Shandong, work together to implement the major national strategy of the Yellow River, empower each other in the construction of a unified national market, promote technological innovation and the integrated development of industrial innovation, and expand high-level opening up, jointly promoting the development of land and sea transportation construction.

The delegation visited Shandong Heavy Industry Group, Inspur Group, Haier Group, Qingdao Port, and the SCO Expo Center in Jinan and Qingdao.
Henan provincial leaders Sun Shougang, Chen Xing, An Wei, and Jiang Ling; and Shandong provincial leaders Liu Qiang, Zeng Zanrong, Zhang Haibo, Fan Bo, and Song Junji participated in the relevant activities.
