On April 30, Shandong Province held a celebration for the "May 1st" International Labor Day and a commendation ceremony for the winners of the Provincial May 1st Labor Awards in Jinan. The meeting read out "The Decision of the Shandong Provincial Federation of Trade Unions on Commendation of Shandong Provincial May 1st Labor Awards and Shandong Provincial Worker Vanguard Units". Ma Changhai, Wang Shaopeng, Zhang Renpu, and Wang Zhaoliang of Shandong Heavy Industry Group were awarded the "Shandong Provincial May 1st Labor Medal". The final assembly workshop of China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Jinan Truck Co., Ltd., the grader team of the No. 2 main plant of Shantui Construction Machinery Co., Ltd., the final assembly line 2 of Weichai Power's Lovol Intelligent Agriculture wheeled machinery factory, and the overseas high-end product development team of Zhongtong Bus Holding Co., Ltd. were awarded the "Shandong Provincial Worker Vanguard Unit".
